And the winner is...

Collier’s Heating & Air Conditioning would like to announce the winner of The Oldest Air Conditioner Contest. After hunting high and low, Collier’s found the oldest air conditioner in Northeast Indiana. Rodney Ziemek is the contest winner with a 44 year old unit. Rodney entered the family’s 1966 LuxAire unit; it was verified and crowned the winner. The winner will receive a new, completely installed, Lennox air conditioner system courteous of Lennox and Collier’s Heating & Air Conditioning.

Oldest Air Conditioner Contest Rules

Starting February 24, 2010, we will start a contest campaign to find the areas “Oldest Air Conditioner”. The contest will continue through the month until April 15, 2010. The winner will receive a New Lennox XC13 Air Conditioner, installed and connected to the existing duct system in their home at no cost to the home owner. The new Lennox XC13 AC will be sized to matching winner’s home - 1.5 ton to 5 ton. 10 year Compressor warranty and 5 year parts warranty. The Lennox XC13 is an energy efficient 13 SEER air conditioner.

A Collier’s Representative will visit each resident to validate all air conditioner entries. They will take pictures of all air conditioner entries.

All inquires over the phone or E-mail must be recorded on a promotion form, filled out completely. Please allow 1 ½  hours per household to validate, get pictures of unit, and allow some time for questions with the homeowner.

 

 Contest Rules

  • Start date is February 24, 2010.
  • Air Conditioner must be in a SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL HOME (no commercial units).
  • Air Conditioner must be within a 75 mile radius of either Warsaw or Fort Wayne.
  • Collier’s will take possession of “Oldest Air Conditioner” for additional promotions.
  • The Air Conditioner must be currently installed to the homes existing duct work and in nearly dead or working order.
  • Window AC units DO NOT qualify for contest.
  • There will be only ONE winner.
  • Winner to be the decision of Collier’s based on identifiable numbers.
  • Unit information will be used to date the unit manufacture date.
  • Air Conditioner may be ANY BRAND.
  • Relatives or employees of Collier’s may not participate in this contest.
  • Cutoff date is April 15, 2010.
  • Winner must agree to be in pictures for additional marketing of Collier’s Heating & Air Conditioning.
